Hi, I am Josh Samarco Let me start by saying how excited I am that you are here stopping by to check out a piece of my life! So what’s to know about me? I am a mentor, pastor, former basketball player and coach, husband, leader, teacher, speaker, writer, photographer, and student of life. I have dedicated my life to living out the Great Commandment and Great Commission, which is to: love God completely, love myself correctly, and love others compassionately while sharing God’s love day by day. I have a lovely wife named Jasmine and a beautiful baby girl name Adeline. Outside of God, they are the best thing that has ever happened in my life. That says a lot for a basketball junkie! I have a MA in Ministerial Leadership from Wesley Seminary.

Throughout my adult life, I have had this recurring dream where no one is coming for me. This dream usually starts with me getting off the bus to enter middle school (and sometimes high school, too). On my 17th birthday, I took 18 shots of vodka, smoked 2-3 blunts, got behind the wheel of a car illegally without a license, drove to a football game, and then to a friend’s house. – Little did I know what was to come after.
